No alcohol in Sapulpa parks, and no permit to get around it

Sapulpa Parks and Recreation lists alcoholic beverages and glass containers among the items banned at every city park and facility, and offers no permit route. Bixby bans outside alcohol in its parks too but will issue a special event permit. Sapulpa does not publish one. If you want the pavilions, the answer is a dry event. Park rules.

Sapulpa also charges its own occupational tax and licence fee, and the code requires both that and every ABLE licence before anyone sells alcohol in the city. That is a second desk, not a second copy of the first one. Part 3, Section 3-105(A).

Since 1 July 2026, Oklahoma has required that alcohol served on the premises of an event venue be served by someone holding an ABLE licence, and that holds even when you bought the alcohol yourself. Buying it does not make you the server. 37A O.S. Section 2-113(I).
